Baby Fever!~
Christmas is almost here!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!! I love this time of year~ family, friends and food and oh yea presents too!! :) We are always pretty busy this time of year! We got our tree up and stockings too!! (mine already has something in it….I just cant look yet) We both are working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and ½ a day on Thursday, we will both come home from work, pack the car and Bob too- then hit the road. We go to Pat’s parents house Christmas Eve and spend time with the whole family. This year is the WHOLE family! So, we get to see everyone. Then Christmas morning, we get up head back to Eau Claire then go to my parent’s house for the rest of the day. My Aunt and Uncle from New Mexico will be here this year, so I am really excited to see them! We have not seen them since the wedding! It will be a great Christmas with family! I can not wait!!!
I have been feeling really well! I am not sleeping the best, but I still feel good :)
Hope you all have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! I will post again next year! Hehe.

Oh Happy Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was AMAZING! Our little person was moving around like crazy. It (no we did not find out!!) had it’s little hands by the face, so the face shots were hard to get. Pat, my mom, Betsy and Abby all came to the appointment. They were all also amazed at what you can actually see. We got to see the heart with all 4 chambers, (heartbeat was 153) the kidneys, the liver, the brain and what ever other organs we have!! When the technician had to look at the pelvic area, she made everyone close their eyes…I kept mine open and still did not know what I was looking at…she was so fast!~ It is amazing that they have the “regular” and now the 3D- there is nothing like it!! Here are a couple pics! The 1st one is my favorite. The profile! The 2nd one is a 3D shot, you can see baby Sax’s little arm and leg! The 3rd one is it's best side...BUTT SHOT!!:)
After the ultrasound, I had my appointment with the MD. She said everything in the ultrasound looks great and everything seems to be “normal and average” So that is a good sign! She pressed on my belly a little bit and said everything is good! She talked about pre-term labor….let’s hope I don’t have to worry about that!!!
All else is well here. Pat’s parents were over last weekend and finished the kitchen! I now have my hand painted torn wall paper up and it looks awesome!! After Pat gets the trim up and the cupboard stained…….then the NURSERY will be next!! YAY!! I can’t wait to get started on that!! It will be great!(few pics below of the kitchen)
Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day! I made sure to eat and eat…then get up at 4am Friday morning to shop and shop!!! Just my style! We shopped for a good 9 hrs and I loved it! Came home, relaxed and spent quality time with the in laws!! It was a really nice weekend!

Another day in Paradise
All is still great here! I feel good and can’t wait to start working on the baby’s room. Pat is finishing the kitchen, so we can start working upstairs on the nursery!!! I finally get to put together a nursery…I have been waiting to do that forever!!
A theme is what we are at right now. We plan to paint the room celery….and use some kind of animal theme…but nothing has been for sure. We have not found the right fabric for bedding! It is definitely hard when you don’t know the sex of the baby…but for me I like that challenge!
We have our ultrasound in a couple weeks. December 3rd. I am really excited to see our little person move! I can’t wait to see the fingers and the profile! Our doctor’s office does the usual u/s and also the 3D one!
One of the best things about my 1st pregnancy is that I have a couple really good friends going thru everything with me! They are all due before me….so they get to tell me what I can expect! It is great!! My friend Jacci is due in December with a little girl! So our babies will only be a couple months apart! So awesome! My friend Michelle is due in February, she is having a boy…she is fun to talk to about decorating! She is the master. Her little man will have a cowboy themed room! I can’t wait to see the pictures when she completes it! He is one lucky little guy! And 3rd, my friend Jacki is due exactly 4 weeks before me! It is great to hear what she did at her last appointment, so the next time I go, I know what to expect. They are also not finding out the sex of the baby….so we can relate on that level!! I am so excited for all of them!!! 2010 is going to be a great year for babies!! I am very thankful that my little person will have some awesome friends…just like me!!
I know things are crazy with the holidays….but this is a great time of year to be happy! I hope you all have an awesome Thanksgiving!! I know I will be eating all the good food!!! Yumm! If you see any good deals Black Friday for baby stuff, let me know…I am on a hunt this year!
I will make sure to update after our ultrasound appt. I will post pics too!!!

150's
Baby’s heartbeat was in the 150’s, which is good :)
I am still feeling great! So great that I found out that I actually LOST weight this appointment. (which is normal, the MD was not worried) It was a pretty easy appointment….only 20 min or so!!
Next appt is the 1st week in December….we get to see the baby for the 1st time!! Ultrasound time!! I am really excited even though we are not finding out the sex of the baby!!
Hope everyone had a great Halloween!!

Busy Weeks
October 10th was Abby’s 13th birthday, so 7 of us decided to head to the cities for a birthday weekend! It was my mom, Abby, Betsy and 3 of their friends! On Saturday we went to the Mall of America and pretty much hung out in the theme park all day. All the girls got wristbands, so they could ride all the rides all day! I watched from the sidelines- next year I will be with them!! Then Sunday was a big day! I saw on my Twitter page that Gloriana (opening act for Taylor Swift) would be at Wal-Mart in the cities….so we surprised the girls and went to their meet and greet. It was a lot of fun; we got all their autographs and took a group picture with all of them. (below) Then we started to head to downtown Minneapolis to the Target Center for the Taylor Swift concert! It was amazing. Taylor is a great performer with a lot of spunk and energy!!! (A couple of pictures are below) So, that was our fun filled weekend.
The next weekend was our 1 year anniversary!!! October 18, 2008…what a great day! I can not believe that we are celebrating it already! This year has been amazing and I have a wonderful husband. We drove to Green Bay to go to the Packer vs. Lions game. (They won!!) It was so much fun; we were in the end zone 10 rows up! Amazing seats!!~ Pat likes to tell people that he knows he picked the right wife, because what wife would be OK with going to the Packer game for their anniversary!?! Um, HELLO! I think I was MORE excited then him!!
The next weekend was my goddaughters 1st birthday! Betsy, Abby and I went to Medford to spend that time with Bella and her family to help her celebrate! We had a great time and ate lots of great food and cake!! Yumm!!! The picture is from when she got a bath in the sink, cus her cake was sooo messy :)
Today is October 28th and I am 14 weeks this week. I get weekly updates regarding my preggo self and this week was an interesting one to me…it said “Your baby is beginning to respond to outside stimuli. If your abdomen is poked, the fetus will try to wriggle away.” So crazy!! I thought this one was a good one to share…no poking my belly people :) I am feeling really good still. I finally just got over my three week cold (with a little help from antibiotics) otherwise all is well here. I am still not in maternity clothes at all, but I am starting to find that some of my shirts “ride up” a little bit and a couple of my pants that I could “squeeze” into before….not so much any more! Oh well, time to start shopping! The baby is 3.2-4.1 inches from crown to rump! Last week baby was the size of a peach…so he/she is a little bigger this week about the size of your fist!!
This was a long update…only because the last few weeks have been crazy! Hope you are all well…make sure you take our poll above!

Finally!!!
Yes, you heard me right....we are going to be Mom and Dad....ahhhhhhhh!!
So, this is the reason for our new blog...we can't stop smiling!!! :)
We went to our 1st prenatal doctor appointment on Tuesday and heard the heartbeat for the first time. It was very surreal....it was a swooshing noise...loved it!
Now we go to the MD every 4 weeks for checkups. We are due April 2010...so I have to start shopping for neutral clothes...since we are not finding out the sex (oh yeah, by my choice) :)
For me, I have been feeling great!! No morning sickness (thank god!) and no cravings yet (except ice cream, but I always crave that!!) I hope it stays this way for the next 6 months!
This is a short blog this time...I plan to update this blog at least every couple weeks with pictures and details :)
Love,
Pat, Alexa, Bob and Baby Sax
