It has been a crazy busy couple of weeks! First of all, I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to my friend Michelle and her husband Aaron!! They had their first baby boy on Monday the 8th! Lars Aaron was born 7lbs 15.5 oz and 21 inches long, very healthy little man!! The pictures are adorable; I can not wait to meet him in person! Congrats Michelle and Aaron!!
Pat’s parents were here Valentine’s weekend. Brad and Pat worked hard in the nursery all weekend…the sheetrock is up, the mudding and taping is done and most of the sanding is complete! Pat has been up there every night this week with the final touches and plans to prime and texture the walls this weekend! It is a process but I see progress!! While the boys were working on the nursery, Cheri and I went fabric shopping! It was a lot of fun, we saw a lot of boy or girl fabric, the neutral fabric was a lot harder to find! We did end up finding some adorable fabric at JoAnn Fabrics…we are going with the animal theme. It is really cute, little lions, tigers, monkeys, elephants….just adorable. If the little one comes out a girl, we will just have to add pink bows on the animal’s heads! :)
Sunday was Valentine’s Day…we all went and saw the movie Valentine’s Day, it was a very cute movie with a lot of big names in it. It was a “feel good” movie!!~ The boys even liked it!! Sunday night we had awesome steaks and baked potatoes for dinner…it was a great Valentine’s Day!! Hope everyone had a great day also; did you kiss your sweetie?
Monday I had my 30 week (YEAH! 30 week!! WOW- 10 weeks to go!!!!) appointment. Pat’s parents stayed in town Sunday night so Cheri could attend the appointment with me! The heartbeat is still in the 150’s (which is good) and this time she thought the butt was down….last time she thought the head was down…but the baby still has plenty of time to roll around in there!! The baby is approx 3 lbs this week and 15 ½ inches long! WOW! Cheri loved hearing the heartbeat, it is pretty cool!! My next appointment is March 3rd !
It will be an exciting weekend for us, my god-daughter Bella will be in town with JoDee and Brad! I can not wait to see Bella…she is almost walking!! YAY! We will see how Bob reacts to a 1 year old all over him~ oh geez. I see the jealously starting already….have a great weekend and remember only 66 days left!!!

2/3 Down, 1/3 To Go!!!
Wow, time sure flies these days! Only 83 days to go….and I will be a mommy!! Geez, I can not believe that I am already in my 3rd trimester…I feel like I was just posting my 1st blog a couple weeks ago! I am still feeling great! I have not had any issues to date. Besides the fact that I don’t sleep -- Oh well, it is just preparing me for baby! I had my 28 week appointment yesterday and everything looks good! She was feeling around my belly and she thinks that the baby’s head is already down. She was not 100%, but she thinks that is where it is. The heartbeat was still in the 150’s which is perfect! Over the last couple weeks I have been feeling A LOT of movement. It is crazy; it is like the baby is ready to come out…just kick, kick, punch, kick. That is all our little person is doing lately! Anytime I sit down to relax or when I am at my desk I just start giggling…cus the little bugger is so active! It is a good feeling for me, because I can feel him/her all the time!!! :)
Here are a couple pics of me…I tend to wear a lot of black….just to hid my ever so growing belly…so you can barley see it…but this is all you get for now ~
Can you tell how excited Bob is?!? Yeah, right!
Pat has been working hard on the nursery the last few weekends…I know it does not look like much at the moment…but I see a lot of progress! His 1st big project was to work on the closet, he had to take the shelves out that were already in there and put up brand new sheetrock. He also had to re-do the window, so it was a legal bedroom. I am so ready for him to be done with this part so, a. not so much dust around the WHOLE house and b. so I can start my decorating (or lack there of) process!!! So the next step for me is to find a fabric that I like and is easy to work with! If anyone sees an older rocking chair, please let me know….I‘m on the search for one!

Hopefully the after pictures will be up sooner than later :)
My next appointment is only 2 weeks away….I am will be going to the MD every two weeks for awhile, then I start my one week appointments!!!! Like I said before...time is sure going by FAST!
