Maddie had a 1st this week- CEREAL (actually Oatmeal) and she LOVED it!! I was not sure what she would think about it—but when I was feeding her and I took the spoon away to get more- she screamed!! It was funny- she is definitely a little girl that KNOWS what she wants!! The MD recommended that we give her Oatmeal instead of Rice Cereal, since the oatmeal has more fiber for her- and hopefully wont constipate her!!
Another 1st for her- she rolled from her tummy to her back!! Before she would just roll from her back to her tummy – then be stuck! Now, she can go back and forth!! Madison is still sleeping really well- except I am not as much now. One day this week, we went to get her out of her crib and she was on her belly!!! AHHHH!! That really freaked us out! So, now when we put her to bed, she is on her back and within an hour- she rolls to her belly and sleeps that way. Sometimes, if I get up in the night- I roll her back over, I am not a fan of her being on her belly! Ahhh!! It is just another thing for me to worry about!
Madison also got a Johnny or should I say Jenny Jump Up!! She goes crazy in it! She swings back and forth and jumps up and down! It is fun to watch my baby grow up!!
Next weekend will be a big weekend for us- Madison is getting baptized!! Yay! I am really excited! It will be nice to have everyone in town to celebrate our little angel! Betsy, Abby, Nicki and Nathan are Madison’s godparents- we thank them for that!!
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday!! Go Pack Go!

Labor Day!!
What a great weekend!!! We went to Minnesota to visit Pat’s parents and go to the state fair!! It was a BLAST!! On Saturday we drove up and went to the Farmer’s Market, Madison loved walking around in her stroller…Sunday we got up really early and headed to the bus to go to the Minnesota State Fair!! We always hitch the bus in Brooklyn Center and then we do not have to deal with the parking and driving and traffic!! It is totally worth the $10!! Plus, Madison experienced her 1st city bus ride! People on the bus were ooohing and aaahing over her and she just smiled at them! It was funny!! We got to the fair and decided to put Madison in her stroller right away….she loved looking at all the people and all the colors and noises!! While we stopped at the first food booth (Pronto Pup of course!) Maddie decided it was naptime for her. She took a nice snooze and we walked around!! A little bit later, Madison decided (Yeah, she runs the show already!) that she wanted to be out of her stroller- so we strapped her in the front carrier! I think she liked that even better than the stroller- she was eye level (almost) with everyone! She once again was ooohhhed and ahhhhed at, I think Pat thought they were ooohing and ahhing at him – not so much hunny! Madison fell asleep in her carrier and was just hanging there- it was cute!! It was a great 1st experience for Madison at the fair and I am sure she will have many more to come!! She slept the WHOLE way home- the fair poops a girl out!
I am so happy that this week is a short week- tomorrow is already Tuesday – only 4 work days!! YAY!! Hope you enjoy all of the pictures!! Happy Labor Day!
