3 Months Old

Madison is officially 3 months old!!! The last three months have been the best months of our lives! The last month has been crazy- Madison went swimming for the first time and she LOVED it! She just kicked her feet like crazy- she loves the water, I think she will be our little water baby as she grows up! I also went back to work and she started daycare. It was hard for me to go back to work and leave my 10 week old with someone else…but we trust the people we are leaving her with, so it is much better. I did not really cry when I had to drop her off, but saying goodbye was not easy at all!! She has not been with anyone else for more than a couple hours, so leaving her for 10 hrs a day about killed me! But, I must say- it is nice to be back at work again, being on a schedule is really nice! The best part of my day is picking her up cus she is so happy to see me!! Maddie is also now officially sleeping in her crib. I was a little nervous for her, nothing like a BIG room ALL alone! But she was fine! She actually has been sleeping VERY well in her crib all by herself! (as long as we have her music on!) We put her to bed about 10pm and she fusses a little bit right away, but with in 5 minutes- she is out! On the weekend, she wakes up between 6:30 and 7am and during the week; we usually have to wake her up by 6. She adjusts well!! She is our little talker now- I think she will be just like her mama….likes to talk ALL the time!! She just hangs out in her boppy or bouncer and babbles!! She also is smiling all the time- you just look at her and she has the toothless grin right back at you. It definitely melts my heart! She also is starting to really like her toys- she is not grabbing at them yet, but she stares and smiles at them! In her bouncer she knows if she kicks her feet, the music will start and she really likes the music! If we are in the car and she fusses at all- I just turn on the music in her mirror and she stops! It is amazing!! The last three months have gone by so quickly! I am sure the next couple will do the same, before I know it I will be changing her bins of clothing out to winter ones ~ Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
