14 has always been my lucky number….October 14th is the day Miss Peyton came HOME!! YAY!!
My last update was a couple days ago, Peyton went from not eating and pooping to ALWAYS eating and pooping! The little miss loves food! They moved her to a “big girl crib” on Wednesday, so she was out of her isolate. On Thursday she was taken off all her IV and fluids! Friday morning I got to the hospital and they starting bombarding me with information (which is good!) We gave her a bath, got her all bundled up. Discharge people were talking to me…getting future appointments set up, ordering supplies…..oh my!
Finally HOME!!! Home Sweet Home!
I have never been so happy to be home with my perfect little family! Madison did great with the transition….Bob, not so much. Bob was more “out of sorts” then Madison was. He did not like the cooing baby, it was like it freaked him out! Lovely. But after night one, he was good again…just like normal. Madison LOVES having her sister home. She is always blowing her kisses and wanting to caress her head! It is really cute!
It was a pretty non-eventful weekend…which was good. Peyton slept OK the 1st night and much better the 2nd night. We had a couple people stop by on Saturday…but for the most part- we just relaxed at home and it was WONDERFUL! We attempted to go to church Sunday morning and it was a success! Peyton slept the whole service and Madison was occupied by grandpa :) It was nice for us! We watched the Packer game as a family and then went to my parents house for Sunday Family Dinner! It is SO nice to be back in a routine again! Pat will head back to work this week- so I will be on my own with the girls. I plan to take Madison to daycare, so she can stay on schedule. Peyton and I have a couple appointments this week and some people we need to see and also I am sure we will nap at some point!!
Have a great week everyone—Thanks for all the prayers…we are home!
Going Home!!
